Educational Campaign

Youth are inheriting a climate crisis they didn’t create, but they’re also the generation with the greatest power to address it. However, many young people lack access to comprehensive, relevant climate education that connects global environmental science to their daily lives and future.

Traditional education systems often present climate change as abstract concepts rather than local contexts – failing to show how climate science relates to the flooding in their neighborhoods, the changing agricultural patterns their families depend on, or the green economy opportunities emerging across Nigeria. This knowledge gap leaves young people feeling uninformed rather than empowered to act.

This approach creates advocates who understand both the science and the solutions, equipped with the knowledge and confidence to drive change in their schools, communities, and eventually in Nigeria’s climate future. We’re building a generation that sees climate challenges as opportunities for innovation and leadership, not obstacles to their progress.

Without proper climate literacy, youth can’t participate meaningfully in climate conversations, hold leaders accountable, or identify pathways to contribute solutions. They remain on the sidelines of decisions that will fundamentally shape their futures.
